Controversial Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant, who has often made headlines for her personal life, recently announced her marriage in Pakistan. In an interview with Times of India, Rakhi revealed that during her visit to Pakistan, she received several marriage proposals. She mentioned that after the harassment she faced in her previous two marriages, she is now ready to choose one proposal.
Rakhi shared that her fiancé’s name is Dodi Khan, who she described as both an actor and a police officer. She said that numerous proposals came her way from Pakistan, and it was Dodi Khan who personally proposed to her. However, Dodi Khan’s official Instagram account doesn’t confirm his police officer status, as his bio lists him as an actor, and in his shared videos, he is seen playing a police officer’s role in a drama.
Rakhi further stated that she plans to marry according to Islamic traditions in Pakistan, while her wedding reception will be held in India, and her honeymoon will be spent in Switzerland, with accommodation in Dubai.
Rakhi added that many Indian and Pakistani couples live happily together after marrying in places like Dubai and the U.S., and such unions help foster peace and brotherhood between the two countries. She expressed her fondness for Pakistan and mentioned that she has many fans there, emphasizing that love doesn’t see nationality but is about the person’s heart.
In another video shared by Dodi Khan on his Instagram, he greets Rakhi with “As-salamu alaykum Rakhi Ji” and congratulates her on performing Umrah, followed by a warm welcome to Pakistan. He jokingly asks if the wedding procession will come to India or Dubai, signing off with “Love you.”
Rakhi Sawant has been known for creating publicity stunts, which is why she is often referred to as the “Drama Queen.” It remains to be seen whether her claim about marrying in Pakistan is a genuine step or yet another publicity stunt. Additionally, it is unclear when Rakhi actually visited Pakistan.
Rakhi has been married twice before, both of which ended in failure. Her first marriage was to a businessman named Ritesh, which lasted only a few months. Afterward, she converted to Islam and married Adil Durrani, but that marriage also ended in separation, with Adil Durrani facing legal troubles and imprisonment.
